Hey, I'm Lukas – father, entrepreneur, and the face behind Minky Mooh

Honestly? If someone had told me a few years ago that I would one day run a brand for baby products, I would have probably laughed out loud. I have worked in completely different fields and was certainly not the type to know about pacifiers or cuddle blankets. But life sometimes has crazy plans – I met the love of my life, and shortly after came the moment that changed everything: We are having a baby. And that’s when my journey began – today I stand here, right in the world of baby products, and I couldn't be prouder.

Why? Because Minky Mooh means much more to me than just a brand. It’s a mission that comes straight from my heart.

It All Started with a Little Miracle

Everything changed when Sophie came into the world. I tell you: There is nothing more beautiful than holding such a little worm in your arms. The moment I saw Sophie for the first time, everything changed. Suddenly, there was this thought: “What can I do to ensure this little mouse gets the best of the best?”

You are constantly looking for products that are safe, practical, and also a little special – but often it’s either one or the other, and very often it was made of plastic. And now as a father, I thought: “This can be done better.”

Why I Took Over Minky Mooh

When I had the chance to take over Minky Mooh, it felt like a sign. The brand was already there, loving and creative – but I knew it could do even more. So I said: “Okay, Lukas, let’s go!”

And yes, I know: I am not a typical founder of baby products. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting. I see it from a different perspective. For me, it’s about providing parents and grandparents like you with products that I would buy for Sophie myself. Products that are practical, look really good, and can be used without a guilty conscience because they are safe and sustainable. That drives me, because we only have this one Earth and we need to act now to ensure it remains a livable place for our children and grandchildren.

What I Can Promise You

I want you to know: Behind every product from Minky Mooh is my heart and soul. Whether it’s about quality, design, or production – I make sure everything is right. After all, I’m not just an entrepreneur, but also a father. And I want you to feel just as safe as I do when you hold something from Minky Mooh in your hands. Because it’s for your offspring – the most important people in your life.

For the Little Big Moments

What I have learned in recent years is how important the little moments are. The first smile, a cuddle afternoon on the sofa, or those brief moments when everything seems perfect. That’s exactly why I do all this.
