Baby and Child Care: We recommend caring for the baby's bottom with the honey cream during every diaper change. This serves as a preventive measure to ensure the baby's bottom does not become red. Additionally, a small piece of our sheep wool fleece (fat wool) can be placed, as our fat wool and honey cream complement each other wonderfully and keep the baby's bottom soft and supple.
Nipple Care: Often, the nipples are heavily stressed during breastfeeding. Simply apply a pea-sized amount to the nipples and gently massage it in. Depending on the nipple, a piece of our fat wool can also be placed for additional care. The fat wool absorbs excess milk, can be used longer depending on the milk flow, and can be easily disposed of in compost after use. Since, as the name suggests, honey is in the cream, please rinse the nipples briefly before breastfeeding.
Wound Care: In the diaper area, on sore spots (decubitus), and on other areas needing care, apply the honey cream after cleaning. For additional care and cushioning, place a piece of sheep wool fleece (fat wool). If the wound is already open, place a cloth between the fat wool and the wound, for example, and do not place the fat wool directly on the open wound.
Skin and Body Care: The honey cream can be used after cleaning the skin for a soothing massage, e.g., for joints, legs, etc., as well as for the care of dry, brittle, and cracked skin on heels, elbows, or hands. It can also be used for lip and facial care, as well as for insect bites and sunburn.
